No relevance or interest? Really?

When Morris Iemma was asked about the cost of staff employed in his office, he said, “Changes in my office, or any other office, have no  relevance or interest to the people of this state.”

Here are two responses from Sunday Telegraph readers, who – not unexpectedly – were a little put out by Iemma’s attitude:

“If ever proof was needed that Mr Iemma and his mate Mr Costa were completely out of touch with reality, this wraps it up. Of course it’s relevant and of interest to the people of NSW. Who does this clown thinks pays the bill?”

Barrie J.  Ridgway, Cooranbong

“The abject arrogance of this egotistical Premier…what utter garbage. We are the idiots who have to pay for all these spin doctors and all his staff’s wages – not that any number of spin doctors, no matter how good they might be, could ever save this hopeless, inept bunch of drongos from their very worst enemy: themselves.”

David Ingram, Randwick.
