Responses from Daily Telegraph readers to an interview with ex NSW Premier Morris Iemma:

“He seems far too nice to be in politics. He never had the low cunning, deceit and bastardry to succeed.” Neil Stanners, Loftus.

“Morris, if you hadn’t been so self-absorbed, you would have known that voters were sick of you and your treasurer. Take the punishment and stop whingeing.” Lee Scanlan, Campbelltown.

“…if he had a shred of decency about him, he would surrender his parliamentary pension to the state of NSW to compensate for the mess he and his nitwit mate Costa caused us.” Serial letter-writer David Ingram of Randwick, who repeated his assertion that Iemma’s government was the “most utterly uselessm, inept, incompetent government in the history of the state”.
